Swan Hill Therapy and Training Hub

Drum roll please….. We are finally in and sorted (ish)!!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a blog, that’s because we have been so, so busy getting the new place set up. It’s taken a while but it’s looking pretty good.

I still have to paint a wall and put my lovely moon and stars wall sticker up but that will happen over the summer holidays when I have a bit more time (in theory!)

As you can see my consulting room is aimed at slightly older children and young adults, I have alternative lighting for those who are Autistic and may not like strip lighting (although there is loads of natural light too). Justine’s however, is designed with smaller children in mind, see below. The great thing is, depending on which clients we have, we can swap around and use each other’s. Between us we have tons of toys, games and resources; it’s great!

We also have a nice, light, airy training and meeting room

The training room has fold away tables that you can have set up as you like and of course there are teas, coffees, water all on hand. Also plenty of lovely catering places close by! Get in touch if you are interested in using the place.

I plan to run some groups in this bigger room including Lego® based therapy for those with social communication needs, also I’m really hoping to run a young adult social group for those with mild learning disabilities, high functioning Autism and mental health needs too.

We have a consulting room available for other health professionals to use, which isn’t quite ready yet (sneak preview below but needs lots of work!)

We’re very excited about the move, the response from clients (thus far!) has been really positive.

Still work to do but getting there – watch this space….
