I had the pleasure of being part of a team that delivered the Makaton Taster Workshop to 73 Jo Jingles franchisees at their annual conference. They were so friendly and welcoming; we were really well looked after! It was really fantastic to see so much enthusiasm for Makaton! If you haven’t heard of Jo Jingles it’s a brilliant music, singing a movement programme – so a perfect place to introduce a little Makaton! I think the nearest classes to us are Wrexham, Telford and Bridgnorth if anyone with little ones are interested.
The conference was in the beautiful Berkshire countryside at Latimer Place. Dot Reeves, Helen Hayhoe and I split into separate groups and all had such good fun with our participants, you could hear laughter ringing out around the building – and surely that’s the best way to learn when you’re having fun! Hopefully there’ll be some photos to follow in the near future – I’m particularly looking forward to our picture with Jo Jingles himself!!
